Wonder Woman’s costume change?

A couple weeks ago, a photo was released for Adrianne Palicki’s new Wonder Woman costume.  Most of the comments that I read mirrored my own opinion - that she looked more like a stripper than an superhero.  De-gloss everything, from her lips to her boots. (I guess the bracelets can stay shiny).

Either she’ll have a variety of costumes for different occasions or someone was listening.  In some newly released shots from the set, you can see the patent leather shiny pants have been replaced with a navy blue fabric.  They’ve gone back to the more traditional red boots (although I would have still gone with a darker red).  I’m not sure the top is less shiny as much as it’s less computer enhanced (photo-shopped).  Her waist and breasts seem more naturally proportioned in the new photo as well.

I used to love the Wonder Woman tv show as a kid.  As an adult, I’m surprised it made 3 seasons.  We’ll see how the new show goes.  As a comic book fan, I’ll give it a try if it stays on the air long enough to be picked up by an Australian station.  (I don’t think we’ve gotten to the end of Smallville yet, and they just started showing Eureka a couple years ago).
