Getting the gamer out of the chair…

A lot of those exercise “games” can get repetitive and boring after a while.  If they fully developed a motion based way to play most computer games, I wonder how much that would be used instead of the standard controller or mouse/keyboard.  Sometimes I’m just tired and want to play a game to unwind, not workout – but it might be a fun option from time to time.

Spazzy Tazzy

DCP_0025 (2)If there was any doubt that Taz gets seizures, that was put to rest today.  We have been wondering with his occasional manic states that are a little similar to how Oz would be after a seizure (combination of frightened and confused).  Once I wasn't sure if he was choking or seizing.  We've meant to bring it up during visits to the vet, but it's slipped our minds.  Today he had a full blown episode, followed by a couple hours of manic behaviour,  Just when I thought he'd settled down, I realized he'd managed to squeeze through the fencing in back and had run off.

I gathered Oz, leashes, and several baggies for poop-stops and went out looking for him when some calling from the front porch didn't work.  Luckily, he rounded the corner at the end of the block shortly after I left the driveway going in that direction.  The three of us walked a little longer to try to burn off whatever energy he still had.  Now he's finally sleeping.

I guess we'll be taking another trip to the vet, as well as finding new ways to secure the backyard so he doesn't decide to go wandering again.
